You never walked in our shoes
for all those years
twenty four hours a day
seven days in a week
Our walk was done in love
and we would walk the
same path again

with or without thought
it will never be known
so many questions
no answers will be given
years have gone by

you may feel what you do
it is your free will
but so may i feel what i will

what’s the point
of asking
of talking
of wasting precious time
a waste of breath
a waste of thought
no point at all really
a voice falling in the wind
a voice no one hears
a voice overshadowed yet again
so why talk when no one listens
