I am a mom, wife, and occasional poet. My aunt was a poetry lover and she opened my eyes to the beauty of a good poem. Soon Nikki, Sonia, Rita and Langston filled my shelves. I dare not compare myself to these greats. Yet they serve as my inspiration.
