Split between the tiniest of chords A melancholy moan echoes A cold and merciless sword Explaining the destructive woes The strings of nerves toyed and pulled A heartbeat drum fades to dark As a somber life is culled Leaving behind a vivid mark

The Crecscendo
So we met in middle school Feeling oh so awkward Both of us alone and not "cool" Not knowing the future we walked toward Each time we meet It's like I'm playing a guessing game The sound of your voice is so sweet Each time I'm hoping nothing's the same So we burn in the sun And talk together at night Reading the clouds never seemed so fun Falling asleep until twighlight Shared whispers Cracking jokes Walking along the beach shores I feel like my love is a hoax Each time we meet It's like I'm playing a guessing game The sound of your voice is so sweet Each time I'm hoping nothing will change Then one night, after you get home I tell you my feelings For me it's a guessing game, But you say, "I'm with another guy." I'm always playing a guessing game A guessing game, guessing game, A guessing game! Guessing the feelings of the world... Each new day brings a new guessing game.

Guessing Game
Staring into their eyes, Longing for the other Sharing their aches, but never saying why. He whispers, "You are the only one." And he means true, She replies, "I love you." And she is truthful. When the dawn comes, she is on a bed, Breathing labored, and in pain. He holds her hand, in such agony At not being able to help more. The fevor spreads, And life is anew, While she faded. He holds the new life, and cries terrible tears. "You are the only one left..." He whispers to the child. But he sees something, The love that she showed him, And that child, is the only one important to him

The Only One
Let the fires burn over me. The darkness of the inferno is magical. We feel and burn as we drown. The hell of life is over. Water and fire, opposites yet the same Cliche in their principal but simple in theory. We still die either way. Unturned and becoming undead. As the fire strengthens the water, Boiling, bubbling, becoming death incarnate. And we burn, burn so much, As the water is scalding, scalding our skin Our minds, Our hearts, Our souls. And the pain, it helps...

Scald
Red and glinting, Hot and boiling. The glowing in the sky, Caused by stars starting to die. They explode in a majesty of colors, And provide wonders in death to others. Then they fade into black, Becoming mystery, never coming back. As the stars burn in their final hours, Space gains new powers. A new star, brighter and more elegant, Is born shining it's light, almost shining fragrant

The Solar Stars
We meet, she's afraid, I'm nervous, She pushes away, I push to make friends. Clearly I see her in pain, And she can see I'm no different. We talk, I nervously, Her, rather like a punk. But we bond, she's no longer afraid, I'm friends and no longer nervous with her. Then she's tortured again, I can't stand by. I throw myself at the danger, Without caring for my own life. I'm hurt, but she is safe. And she tells me goodbye, and that scar runs deep I say goodbye as well, And cry to myself. I lost the small one that I cared for, The one who I loved and held closest. So I sit here, wondering at the stars, Who just shine in their infinity. While they watch over, sentinels of light, I'm down here, showing how I care for the small.

Caring for the Small
We were happy, or so he thought. They kissed and loved in the sun, But she felt her mind is too weak. He didn't care, he loved her for the person she was. And she was afraid of her own mind ruining him. So they parted. He is now hurting so terribly She, well she is saddened to have left him They still stay together, but never as lovers. Speaking, helping, and supporting. Eventually maybe they will love again.

Saddened
He gathers his courage, Cannot commit to telling her. He Braves his heart, And tells her then. This constant heart changes each day and loves still. And she loves too, holding his love carefully. And they live, lives of happiness and sadness, Just as it was meant. New love springs, Like roses covered in thorns. A field of vast grass whispers in the breeze and never changes. And these two hearts still beat together. A love so sure, It rules over constant hearts.

Constant Heart
Common traits are known, But those traits of space and the sky, Hold infinite possibilities. To wonder, dream, create Advance, explore, be yourself, And yet the times end In a heart never moved by time

Skies and Infinity
They burn the brightest when nights are darkest And simmer to death near dawn When two are watching them, they twinkle. And children looking to the stars dream. They are silent, a companion to all But they suffer in silence Never to experience the hope, the love, the dreams, They watch, sparkling, silver deities As those lovers kiss When the child becomes great Or when a person ends. They suffer with no means to love those Who watch them and dream. Silently suffering, yet happy Traveling into those, who yearn for freedom They turn that suffering into a burning shine
