23/M/New York A collection of a twenty-something year old trying to navigate through the metaphorical soup of emotions and trivialities of life.
darkness wears two faces one is void and empty cold and harsh leaving nothing but you and your loneliness the other is warm and permeates it engulfs you entirely cradling you in its arms lulling you to sleep humming its tender silence

Looking at her. Take a glance, there she was… all over the place, yet so beautiful you think to yourself, but you just don’t get it. “How can others not get it? they look at you and not fall for you! of course, they are going to regret it.” She goes on about her heartaches and troubles, wishing you could go back in time to tell them how stupid they were, and with a smirk on your face, they would know, it is now your turn. You look at her worried, about her smile, about her lips, about her arms, about her weight, and all the things that drive her crazy. Yet you think to yourself of how it’s the most beautiful thing you’ve laid eyes on. You simply observe, but neither does she understand the power she holds, or maybe she does. But she doesn’t make a big deal of it and that makes her more beautiful. All that ******* power one “hi” is enough to poison you one kiss on the cheek, now you are impregnated with that perfume, that smell… it sneaks through your pillow, whispers to your ear reminding you to think of her. You look in front of you as she stands so calmly thinking how lucky you got that you get to love her. And now you promise, You will take every chance to remind her, that you love her.

Looking at Her
Like an empty canvas That was never started. Static, while you are staring at it Something that never happened. An unfortunate error You wish to forget Forget it to disappear. A thought that never occurred, A voice that wasn’t heard Like that right turn you never took. Now your left became your only resource And standing there you hear a voice “You are a fool” At least it is what I heard. Your brain is not capable to comprehend, Learn, Retain, Everything you do falls like the rain. Unable to pick up, you just gave up And like that it is gone, The canvas wasn’t there anymore.

Canvas
Face of light Guide me through hell In the depths of the night Release me from this spell Reflected on the moon I will be reminded through the journey Every time I think of you And why can’t it be sooner? Embodiment of light, Show me how you do it right Teach me how to shine, How to act, how to write. Clearly, I am inclined in some way This strange road led by desire Bumpy rocks will try to stray But when I look up I know I am headed the right way.

Gentle touch A warm blanket Meet me under In the darkness Where no words are needed I will be guided by your voice Grab my hand, lead the way Nothing to hide No need to look away In your arms, I will be safe. Grab my face Feel my soul No eye contact, no judgment Use your words only Sign this love contract We’ll resurface stronger Knowing the map of our cities, That leads to our hearts. Once we are out It will be signed Interlinked for a lifetime I will have memorized your world Your gentle touch. Sebastian Carrion

Gentle Touch
Cars pass by Relentlessly One goes, one comes Taking turns. Some might stay Perhaps an hour Maybe a couple of days Some might be flawed Broken parts Troublesome Time-consuming But they work just fine. Maybe a quick fix So that it lasts a little longer One more mile One last drive. …this isn’t about cars.

Parking Lot
Swallow me whole, sew my system. Do not rush, or pause Swerve me away from sorrow Say my name, Sing a song Stay with me.   It won’t be long Sink your thoughts in my chest My heartbeat felt, And my skin touched, It was so divine, So in love Serve your wish I must Whatever it is. “Whatever, I most.” Sharpen your sword, Build your arsenal A fort surrounding your heart This burden I will help you carry Are you ready? Love With this weaponry My spine is at your will. Sadness will be the trophy Sacredly stored in your territory It must stay away from your door, Forever Safe and away From my lover.
