It scorches the ground a single spark then starts a raging wave The dancing flames, of red and yellow, no one can be saved The heat, the light, the colours change to draw the eye and mind A maze created, by your fear, an exit you will never find The chaos and the fright combined create a panicked state So much resting on one move, a single step can change your fate The smoke, the ash, the smell of fear is just too much to bear The dust, the dark, the blazing heat, the desperate need for air There's nothing you can do or say there's no one even near You just lie still and hug yourself, surrounded by your fear Your vision blurs, the colours gone, the silence closes in The chances to escape are gone, saviours have already been There's nothing for you now, but death, and it is on its way No one ever escapes the maze, no matter what they say The flames consume you; they light the dark, swallowing you in a single bite What's left of you they'll never find, but no one will forget that night Fire is the single thing that no one can control Consuming every living thing, all users pay the toll A slip, a spark, a flame unwatched can start it all again This time it will be someone new who just may meet their end

Trapped
I am all alone, trapped in this mad place Only I can cry in my cold prison No one will ever feel how my heart does race The Devil himself from hell has risen Wishing for hope all these many dark days A guardian angel to save my life A guide to lead me through this twisted maze Someone to help me escape my own hell My thoughts are not happy, my dreams have gone wild Never shall I be freed from this prison I have been trapped here since I was a child My one hero has not yet arisen Trapped in my own mind 'til end With my endless moods that never will mend

My Prison
Flower petals blow in the wind The grains of sand are in my bin The crash of waves against the shore A roll of thunder I can't ignore The sky is dark and the clouds are grey The irds of the water know to stay away The sky turns bright with a lightning flash And across the sand my feet do dash I reach teh cabin on the beach Run through the door and don't wipe my feet The sound of thunder at my back I close the door and turn the latch i jump on the couch and cover my head The room is silent as the dead When I wake up morning has come The sky is bright and the storm is gone The air is fresh and the breeze is cool The see is calm just like a pool After a storm the world is new Everyone knows it now I do too

The Storm
Time is that simple thing that never ends Always continuing on forever Although there are wounds it may never mend The pains of them we simply must weather Time is something that you can never control Time doesn't stop for you nor will it wait The effects of time always take their toll The time you once did love you'll one day hate Time's everlasting, nothing is older It remembers our triumphs, failures, tears It remembers times when we were bolder It kept us company while facing fears Time I did once love thee without a care But now you don't matter, you're hardly there
