I am a writer, author, poet, playwright, journalist, essayist, theater critic, teacher, adjunct professor; the universe gave me the gift through my fingers and I only let it bring me joy now, after it took all my joy away for five years. But my beginnings were as a poet. And right after that, a metaphysician. As above, so below.
A Fantasy within a fantasy
Two bodies entwined
With no purpose but to
Put off time with a joy
That never leaves a complete
Trace in the memory
The recall of the ********
Never enough to stop
The wicked cravings
Born within us, this desire,
This destiny to multiply, but
Somehow changed into
Cries and whispers, screams
That hold no pain
Or perhaps a pain
That the moment is never
Recaptured easily, it takes
So much to find a pair
