All those days watching from the window
All those years outside looking in
I never knew how it really feels to be free
Stuck in the same place I've always been.

I was drunk last night
My breath was tight
Nothing felt so imprecise
I was lying on the floor
Frozen and paralysed
My life savoured to solitude
The pain was in my heart
I closed my eyes and saw him
Such perfection
He was like an art of fiction
But then i realized
My love was just an illusion
He's long gone now
Shining into those stars
Resting in peace
And I'm here numb
Watching him from down.

Lost in my thoughts
Thinking about the past
Planning about my future
My mind has become a place of apprehension
There's no place to hide
I looked out the window
Trying to find my answers
But then it started raining
My abstractions started to take a new turn
I was filled with excitement
Each drop was scintillating
Like a diamond
A voice came out from within
It was a message
'Thinking of your past
Will make you sad
Planning about your future
Will make you worry
Time never comes back
It goes out of your hand
Once it's gone it will never return
There's no control
So think about your present
And live for the moment'
I smiled and went out in the rain
Dancing, Screaming like an idiot
Happiness was within me
And the best part was
There was no pain.

Air was filled with love
She was oblivious
Too naive to be compos mentis
Then something extra-mundane happened
She was enchanted by a smile
That everlasting smile made her go loony
Those eyes were twinkling like a star
Too close yet too far
That face was shining so bright
Slowly her feelings were blazed down
He faded like a rose, evanesces
Something pricked her eyes, Perplexed
And she was doomed by one thought
The thought of not seeing him again
The thought which discerned her
That he was just an illusion.

And malice take over
The soul within you desire peace
Fear poses you by exposure
When the world puts you down
There is no way out of this catastrophe
The pain you feel inside becomes perpetual
No matter how audacious you are
