If you don't know where you're going. If you don't know where to turn Look to the ground for ancestors Look to the sky to learn Because the world is rolling With or without your blessing It won't wait for the corner to turn And the skyline silhouette jackalope Will reach the water and back i know We could meet up and play by the ferns Don't get caught up with your disease Playing games like droned out teens Waiting for the bite sized treats To finish nuking in the unnatural heat Instead find a tune Meet a snail under a ruin In your heart is the rhythm of Gods beat Then you'll be able to trust your feet To lead you down the knife To a genuine life Bless you child, that's what we all need

Dirt vs Digits
Remember when we would play for hours every day? No plans, only skipping and dancing to the next quiet stream Helping with chores so we could leave that much sooner Roaming the streets with skateboards and scooters Amusing the neighbors with our imaginative ventures We were kids then Intimidated by nothing Overwhelmed by everything So filled by the need for something more Do you still think about playing in the morning? Or has it all become a chore? A tired bore before you can finally sleep some more A constant repeat of one tv episode And you can't seem to find that stupid remote Maybe it's time to unplug, man There's a tree outside that hasn't been climb since you were three Maybe it's meant to be? All I'm saying mi amores is one day we all will swim, jump and run again In a starlight grove I miss what we'll become

Morning Game
I’ve been on this road for a long time now, I’ve driven with ease and I’ve broken down, I’ve heard crows cackles, learned how doves sing, Crawled through nightmares, flown through dreams, I’ve driven through the desert, driven through trees, Eaten off the pavement and dined with the kings, Through all the hours there’s one thing I’ve found, You can’t make someone care if you’re not around, So I’ll call you once I’m found, Whether I stand up or touch the ground, Leave the candle lit until I’m free, Once I’m across this sea, I’ll find you, and you’ll find me, I’ve been running around this block for hours, Just trying to find peace, I’ve been sitting here, silently, begging for answers, Maybe one day I’ll know what it means, I’ve been pulling on cuffs, asking questions about stuff, that I probably shouldn’t question, But if I finally shut up, will I be content with myself, Or be drawn to another burden, Trying to find something worth this, So I’ll call you once I’m found, Whether I stand up or touch the ground, Leave the candle lit until I’m free, Once I’m across this sea, I’ll find you, and you’ll find me, Through the pavement of gods, and the cackle of doves, I’ll find my way back to the sun, Through the road may be long, I’ve still got a song, Just leave that candle light on,
