A breath. Each breath takes up part of a day. Every breath restarts the clock of life. Expansion. The expansion of the lungs can be meaningful. A sigh. A squeal. A gasp. A breath.

Breathing
A chilled afternoon in May, Looking to the sky for light. Gloom surrounding my town, Leaving no light to be found. A sigh escapes in the form of wind. Uncertainty portrayed through clouds. Mother Nature is kind. Gaia is bold Earth is undefined.

Nature's Uncertainty
A fight on the phone, so common now. Working through the day just to fight. I try to keep my head held high, missing you still. While you are right in front of me, I miss you. Not you now, but the person you used to be. I miss the sweet embraces when I saw you. I miss feeling my heart fill at the sight of you. All that I want is for you to look at me the same way. But I acknowledge that this is not who I used to know. I miss the memories, the cooperation, and on, and on, and on. Just know I miss the person you used to be.
