I remember the love I felt immediately❤️ as I ran my hand gently across my sacred keep...
I remember joy of new life as it overwhelmed me with new feelings;
I remember the constant talks we had as you'd give a fluttered kick in agreement.
I remember the songs we sang and I could tell you were attempting to fall into the clouds;
I remember the names we came up with and I'd ask for your opinion;
I remember automatically feeling a best friend in you;
I remember never feeling love like this before;
I remember planning our lives from your birth to wedding day.
I remember dedicating my entire soul to you and only you.
I remember I cradling you inside me, securing that you're safe.
I remember the curiosity of your personality and character;
I remember packing the overnight bag anxiously awaiting your arrival.
I remember the desperation of bringing you into my world.
I remember your knock at the door became a little faint...
I remember praying to God to covet you the air I breathe.
I remember going into labor and you were as silent as the dark night;
I remember the doctor not being able to look at me
I remember the feeling of death running through me.
I remember asking God why not me?
I remember holding you for the first time as your nose bled down my gown.
I remember the kiss from me to you our final goodbye;
I remember your baptism and sending you to heavens about with thy Father;
I remember laying you to rest in attendance with our loved ones,
I remember the casket closing and wanting to be inside with you.
I remember the anger inside being downright intolerable;
I remember feeling lonely with suicidal thoughts.
I remember asking my God that strengthens me with all his might.
I remember you today and always!
