Come for the final farewell.
One day, I will truly fall silent—
Never again to hear another call.
Familiar faces will watch from afar,
Yet my eyes will search only for you.
I do not know if you will come or not,
But still, I’ll long to see your face one last time—
Just once, for a little while, in silence.
You needn’t say a word;
Just come, as you used to.
When you do, it will feel as though, for a moment,
Everything was once right in the world.
You will come, won’t you?
Stand among the crowd, just once—
so that before I close my eyes,
I may know that the one I loved all my life,
came at least for the final farewell.

The other day, I was driving along a winding mountain road.
It was a wild evening.
The mist swallowed the trail ahead.
And arrogant clouds stood in my way,
Creeping into the space within my car.
That annoyed me, and I rolled up the window.
But did they truly invade my space?
Or was I trespassing in their kingdom?
It is their realm of mist and clouds,
Where they dance freely in the vast, open sky.
Veiled in the silence of sadness.
They sometimes roar with a voice of thunder,
When grief grows too heavy to hold,
They weep in countless raindrops.
So what was I doing there?
A stranger in their sacred world.
Better I should have turned away —
So they might reclaim their endless skies,
Untroubled by a wanderer’s wheels.

Far away from the bustling city
Let’s escape to somewhere untouched—
Where the light of civilisation has yet to intrude
Where the sun glows above by day,
and the moon and stars shimmer at night,
Where a river flows with sparkling waves
and pine forests whisper with their rustling leaves.
Where the birds’ chirping can still be heard.
Let’s walk along the riverbank one day
beneath the forest canopy.
When we get tired of walking,
We will lie down on the green grass,
And look up at the endless blue sky.
When night falls, we will count the stars.
And when our eyelids grow heavy with exhaustion
We will close our eyes,
And dream together until the sun rises.
I have dreamed of this
Since the moment I conceived you in my heart.
Maybe I didn’t live up to expectations,
For I am not as flawless as you once thought.
But this time, I promise to be whole.

Happy New Year is just another day,
As WhatsApp inboxes overflow with clichés.
A 'feel-good factor' fills the air,
Festive joy hides the burdens we bear.
Yet for some, this day holds no cheer,
Only the weight of a new dawn of fear.
Across the border, fireworks ignite,
Revellers dance through the jubilant night.
But on this side, a darker fate—
Fleeing bombardment as clocks reset the date.
Ravaged by war, their lives remain,
Trapped in a cycle of sorrow and pain.

My heart is broken, torn to shreds,
Fragments scattered, dreams lie dead.
Sadness pierces, sharp and deep,
A shadowed soul that longs to weep.
No hopes remain, just cold despair,
A silent ache fills empty air.
The fleeting light breaks on the sea,
A distant whisper calling me.
Yet in this night, though darkness reigns,
Must I seek a prosthetic heart again?
To stir my soul, to mend the seams,
To breathe new life into my dreams.
To eclipse the agony, heal the scars,
Rekindle hope beneath the stars.
Can hearts remade still play their part,
And find new strength—a prosthetic heart?

To someone,
War is humane,
A necessary evil,
A harbinger of peace.
War is geopolitics,
A game of **********
A form of meditation.
War is peace, they say,
War is business,
Nothing more than that.
But to those who have no voice,
Who cannot choose,
War is pain,
Destruction and debris.
War is untimely death,
Annihilation,
Dehumanization.
War is mass extermination,
An endless cycle of loss and grief.
War is displacement,
A deep, unhealed trauma,
War is homelessness,
And dreams reduced to dust.

Now I am a silent passerby,
frozen in a frame of time
Gazing at the footprints you leave behind,
Like a distant morning star,
Ethereal, yet confined.

I love you—not for possession,
Nor for the sake of destruction.
To some, it may seem a mere fantasy,
But to me, it's a path to transformation.
Love is not always blind;
It opens our hearts, teaching us to be kind.
It’s not for seduction or fleeting desire,
But a flame that uplifts, a soul's true fire.
Love means sacrifice,
A gift both selfless and wise.
To clear the path, to light the way,
For your beloved to seize their day.

Raging tempest, roaring loud,
Broken house beneath the shroud.
Massive wave, its fury grand,
Strikes big upon the fragile land.
Coastal village swept away,
Flooded roads in disarray.
Submerged car, its journey done,
Drowned cattle beneath the sun.
Pitch-black dark, a haunting veil,
Screeching mouse tells sorrow's tale.
Silent valley, still and grim,
Nature's hymn, both fierce and dim.

The day I met you, the world stood still,
A quiet moment, a heart to fill.
I saw in your eyes a spark, a flame,
A mirror of my soul that whispered my name.
Half of me wandered, lost in the night,
Searching for warmth, for love, for light.
Then you appeared, and the pieces aligned,
You were the half I was destined to find.
In your laughter, I hear a song,
A melody that carries me along.
In your touch, a calm so true,
Finally knew, the day I met you.
No longer alone, no longer apart,
You are the rhythm that beats in my heart.
The other half of my soul, complete,
A love like ours, nothing could defeat.
