29/F/Kampala For all the things I engage myself in, I realize that am never called into them. / No matter how many times I try, I always end up back to square one. / It is only when I get a pen, that I find myself taking a step.
Under the mango tree, the breeze is cool While the ground is warm, the sky is orange The eyes are bright, Yet the heart is in pain Happiness is gone, watching you set To embark on my journey I must To my nest I shall go To face the horrors of the night I must endure As I have to pay for the mischief of today I await my dear with all my hope To bring me new tidings and new hope As I watch you rise my sunshine With all my joy for the day

My Sunshine
The troubles alone I feel, the victory together we share For only one can feel the pain, and the discomfort it brings Should I cry? Should I whine? For am not sure how long I have gone Is it three? Is it four? Only time will have to tell For nine is still a long way to go Should I cry? Should I rejoice? For the decision I made I stand. My soul is still intact I believe Ripping it again I couldn't afford For denying a life is too inhumane to bear Should I cry? Should I rejoice? For the joy after nine is worth the pain.
