In darkness, ugly things come out.
Wherever these monsters are
I sense fear and hear people shout
but they aren't the one who left me scared.
People I see in light are who I fear,
for their looks can deceive you.
You'd feel scared when they are near
because you know they'll hurt you.
You never know what they are gonna say.
It might be false it might be true.
They make you hate your self in every way.
I'm afraid I'll be like them too.
They don't know you, they judge too quickly.
Smiling but always scared
trying to be pretty but looking sickly
making friends with similar hatred.
I don't want to be around them.
I might slowly lose my mind.
not gonna give away myself, I'm a precious gem.
I'm a better person than all of them combined.
