I am there when you need me For your weakness I took that ****** stand. You laugh and I am with you laughing. This love I can give you. Its a love and sorrow that could have lasted years I will be there when you need me Say a word Ill take another stand. But in your strength I feel my weakness You can never take away the fear The fear and joy in the love of a man.

The Love of a Man
Her family is crazy and the little girl runs wild One older sisters and a boy who's 17 years old She is old enough to see the way it's going Somewhere the birds are singing But for now she will not be alone She needs her lover, but she takes a boy This boy was not a friend, he shows no friendship This boy just waited around to play But he played too serious, he plays too rough How can you expect her to understand The sickness of a world whose eyes are blind? she is just a little girl inside But the dying little girl inside this woman is questioning her once upon a times She is running too early in this loveless world To young but she found what she needed in the arms of an older boy She's got a couple things to hide from mother She hopes she'll understand, But she hopes she'll change How can you expect a child to understand The sickness of a world whose eyes are blind? She is just a little girl A world she cannot hope to conquer, Insecurities that fester in her mind She is just a little girl inside A bad choice, her fault, and no way out, she'll not blame All guilt, tears, no cure, but she says no crime She is just a little girl inside The dying little girl inside this woman is questioning Her once upon a time The girl will be a strong woman--but for now she is getting weaker She carries her shame inside Her parents stay away and face nothing They are blindly wishing for a happy ending How can you expect a child to understand The sickness of a world whose eyes are blind? She was once a little girl A world she cannot hope to conquer, Insecurities that fester in her mind She was once a little girl A choice, a fault, and no way out, will not blame.... The dying little girl inside this young woman is questioning her once upon a time But she was once just a little girl

Her anger unspoken her eyes learned to cry instead He said love was dead After the nights are no longer cold and lonely. When  love has been dead too long. Then will you know that love is not for the lonely, or the bitter wronged. Remember the love before the anger, before the silence and the tears. Again feel the warm memories of his arms around you. Then cry one last time for the fool who let you go. As he feels the words, that you had wished you could have always been there. But your love was not in his plan. Anger now unspoken your eyes no longer cry Where love is dead  pity sits instead. Or does it, is it......Now I hide it

It Died?
A man trained for perfection. He must have seen the stain, that could have been so easily been erased. I still hear the rumors of good intentions. But it is the things he said, the life never lived, the choice he never made, the words he never said, the life he threw away. A life of solid plans and indecision A heart of gold. But it does not matter. No not the fate I expected of one so touched by grace. Now there is the specter of uncertainty that I first endured, accepted and now embrace.

Not the fate expected of a life so blessed by grace.
Have I forgotten the passion within All for a prince and a king But what might have been Not even tears for what might have been My tears unspoken, eyes that would never cry Love is dead. He stood with the world at his feet The beguiling love of an honest-man Now the world marches by All to the lamentations of that also ran.
