Depression, Is the word we use, To show how desperate we are seeking for a happy life. It's suffocation, Frustration, Building a fragile foundation, Tears hydration, self probation, Fighting every temptation. Depression, Is the feeling that describes, We are lost within mountains of suffering and pain. It's dying, Tying, To yourself you're lying, All night crying, Spent hours trying, It's a feeling so terrifying. Depression Is a feeling so strong that, Even love can't eliminate it or even cure it at some point. It's weeping, Screaming, Arms are always bleeding, All day sleeping, Faith leaking, A feeling so strong you stop believing. Depression, Is the start of an end.

Depression, Is the word we use, To show how desperate we are seeking for a happy life. It's suffocation, Frustration, Building a fragile foundation, Tears hydration, self probation, Fighting every temptation. Suffocation isn’t always hand on neck, Squeezing, pressing down, Blocking off air death. Suffocation is the man with his tie tightened around his tender neck Every morning 5 am He is told he needs to work hard (and overtime) to feed his family Does he not care about them? Whittle his soul down to a single strand of consciousness, Again and again, Exhausted, stressed Failing relationships, Doesn’t speak to parents, Hasn’t seen wife in 3 weeks But work, yes bills, more important. Work till you die, Profit first everything else second. Suffocation is the student, Hand squeezing pen, Eyes shut, Failed another test, She didn’t have time to study, Deadlines, Homework, Projects, overwhelming, pushing her down, tries to scream fails can't breathe, silent cries for help unnoticed, passion for learning depleted cold and dark and alone, anxious, trembling, when will the next test be when will the next failure come when suffocating dying restricted. not always hand on neck restricting. Sometimes, it's the restriction of the mind;restriction of the soul.

Hear me out for a bit Seeing AVICII was a hit He was phenomenal Not the highlight of the night tho That i have to admit. And it's funny How i needed music In order to fit To get everything right To see the truth To finally split. Just be patient I'm asking you to wait Let me get this straight "You saw AVICII" On a gold plate! That's "The checkmate" But dude, That's messed up By every scale By every rate! But again Hear me out I won't take a lot Cuz during this night I actually flew To a weird place That I never even knew! It was so spectacular With the best view So as you see this As you go through Imma leave you a hint I'll leave you a clue The highlight of the night Was definitely you. Figure out the rest Remember the way you dressed Remember How we are both messed Remember The heart pumping You had in your chest And Don't lie You know it was the best And Remember That today we figured out We are both blessed. The night AVICII Failed

Hear me out for a bit Seeing AVICII was a hit He was phenomenal Not the highlight of the night tho That i have to admit. And it's funny How i needed music In order to fit To get everything right To see the truth To finally split. Just be patient I'm asking you to wait Let me get this straight "You saw AVICII" On a gold plate! That's "The checkmate" But dude, That's messed up By every scale By every rate!
