There it is the crack again In the mask upon a face so far lost Placed there years ago Made of the lightest of materials Delicate fragile Painted of different colors Taken of different artists The smile on the outside Matches the real one All to realistically And the crack causes stares When it marks the perfect face Made for the not so perfect girl And while in repair The girl makes excuses That are her worst lies But no one knows the difference Because no one looks closely enough And in no time at all The crack is mended And she goes back Back to masking her pain Behind a flawless Mockery of happiness

not another crack
i laugh as i watch you fall gracelessly from the pedastal i naively placed you upon at first i think you flawless no imprefections mark you or disfigure you but turns out you are full them i think though i placed you up there as a distraction while i tell you all the things you want to hear i cross my fingers and hope to hide all the flaws that ive been trying to hide so jokes on you my inadequete vision of useless perfection

Useless Perfection
Page after page Of an interesting read Love unfolds Obviously Starts with a spark Then with a tingle A knowing embrace And then with a tumble Lots of conflict Keeping the lovers apart But as a good ending there is a Happily ever after
