The sunset made me ponder
Life's agonizing choices
Made me reflect
That impunity is not a condition of life
And that liberation is only temporary
That the soul
Squirming under the pressure of circumstance
Always manages to writhe out
Only to see
That it possessed the power all along
To set itself free
If only it had realized
What it truly yearned for.

Mighty are we
Dont you see?
Walking about without realisation
Of life's subtle clues and sensation;
Open your eyes,
It's a marvellous surprise!
You'll find that love is acceptance,
And so is happiness;
The beauty to behold in this portal
Couldnt be appreciated by puny mortal;
Gifted you are with the beautiful heart,
Truly amazing inescapable part;
All you need to do is try
You'll discover the pain begin to go shy;
Rise above the shackles that bind you
you'll find happiness like you never knew.
And above all....
You'll find a friend who's in for the long haul.
