And I realized that people don't always recommend books
Sometimes books recommend people
And I think that's kind of beautiful

It's weird how you can still love someone
Even after
They break you
And betray you
And make your eyes seem less like eyes and more like
Black holes
And it's weird how people can say they're sorry
Even when they're not
And just like some mistakes really can't be forgiven the second time
Some people shouldn't get a second chance
But when someone you love says they're sorry
You say you forgive them
Because you still hope
For some **** reason
That love is enough to convince them
not to break you again.
