I HOPE ALL YOUR T-SHIRTS SMELL LIKE ME AND YOUR BED SHEETS ARE WRINKLED FROM WHERE I SLEPT AND YOUR SHOWER DRAIN IS FULL OF MY HAIR AND I HOPE THAT WHEN YOU USE YOUR SOAP YOU THINK ABOUT HOW IT TOUCHED MY BARE SKIN.

I know that I love you very very much But sadly I am only a grain of sand And you deserve the ocean floor And if I’m being honest I don’t know what I’m upset about But I do know that whenever I think about your eyes I want to claw my own out. And I know that I would enjoy waking up to your face for once, Instead of cold, empty sheets. And I hope that when you go to sleep in your own sheets They are wrinkled from where I used to lay And I hope all your T-shirts smell like me And I hope your shower drain is full of my hair And I hope that when you use your soap, You think about how it touched my bare skin. I know you filled up that same skin and these same bones And lungs And now I can’t tell if I’m breathing you in Or breathing you out.

What I Know and What I Hope
If people were flowers you would be a forget-me-not, and you would be put into pretty glass vases, and watered each day, and admired by everyone who looked at you. If people were flowers I would be a dandelion; perhaps a flower in some eyes, but a **** in most, and children will pluck me from the ground and blow me into the air and make wishes on me that will never come true, and I will only be watered from the **** killer that pours upon me like acid rain, and I will only be admired by the sad-eyed children with the unfulfilled wishes.
