Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, M. Pence now terrifies people in Florida as well as her husband. She likes pink, sparkly things and can be found chasing lizards in her back yard. Her approach to poetry is much like her approach to life: messy, with arms flung wide in hope of catching something amazing. / / Early in 2011 one of her short stories, Sixteen Fingers (Seen in profile pic) was published. As you might be able to tell, getting published was never on her agenda and it might have surprised her more than it surprised you. / / None of Melissa's poetry rhymes.
