She is just a simple girl
In a simple life
In quest of stability
Just to bask in the warmth of the sun
In this amazing sun
Surrounded by her crowd
Sharing dreams and goals
She knows what she wants
Hungry for the fast life
Yet taking a pause,
Overtaken by the present situation
She asks herself
Is she ready to risk it all?
Without regrets?
Her mind stood still
And in this stillness she realized
She would do anything for family
In this war between heart and mind
Selfishness and obligations awakens
Shutting the door to self discovery
Holding passion by the neck.
And in stifled breathlessness
She longs to find herself
She longs to find a question we all ask
”Who is she?”
