I am an avid follower of William Wordsworth, who was - in turn - an avid understudy of Alexander Pope; they believed that the poets, critics, and writers of the world held a very pivotal place in society. They held the balance: criticized those things wrong that sneaked under other's noses; glorified those emotions and choices that exemplify the human race; and taught the common public how to think critically and sensibly. / / If you are a member of HP, then you are aware of the great many aspiring writers here, and may be one, yourself. One of the greatest favors a beginning writer can do is think critically of a peer's work, and advise on the natures of that work's improvement. Be kind to us both, dear reader: let the criticism begin!
