Hello poetry...
I'm not sure what to say
it's been far too long
since I've
actually wrote anything
that matters.
Here and now, I've learned
only one thing since we
last spoke...
I regret all of the the words
that I ever I wrote.
And I wish they'd come home.

well, if I could describe what's going on inside,
I'd have to suspect it's somewhere in my mind
fluttering like a butterfly that's burning alive;
instead of a hearty soul, I've got a broken spine
this is my consequence, what?
I'll get what I deserve!
this is my consciousness, so what?
you thought it was yours?
and I screamed at you from the top of my lungs
as I apologized for the wrong that I'd done,
but you said you'd forgiven me; I was drunk
so to hell with you and all you said about love!

you're the victim of my vindictive, villainous spit;
with that kind of radiance, what would you expect?
I spat my venom with a velocity nearing regret
since you just sat there and handed back my pile of ****

There's a monster down deep inside
Locked behind bars and chains
I call him Sin, I imprisoned him
But he keeps screaming my name
"Master, why won't you set me free?

Demon, I finally cast you out

O' Lord mend my fractured soul,
