my love for you can only be sung in ballads as a broken song my love for you can only be seen in the corner of my dreams unfinished and frail always so close, but never there

I don't want to be what you prefer to see- your tunnel vision for fiction has draw me into light made up for the deposit of what I can only describe as years of your built up self-despise Until we find how to shake your pain you will always be in my way Im so sorry that you put so much into me I feel so much guilt- the future can't be promised- and yet, I tried It was not fair of you to ask me to center your world and carry the weight of your fantasies- and to forget that I have mine- but I love you so much I tried Now, My heart inlined with my soul I want to give you the world, But not at the expense of my own

You see woman as nature she is the woods winds mountains and seas What came from the sky- drops of water and fire- her insides But what have you done with nature other than broke it to keep you alive Is it romantic to say she is of the wild as you call yourself captain of the sea and man made fire conquered its mountains cut down the trees Your only use of flame is when it is contained And there is no value in the mountain's gold Until it is yours to own You say woman is nature with intent to utilize her potential for your self-growth its an illusion of power, that she let be Until the wind rolls and the storm grows, ask the captain then who's power is real; the man's or the sea's
