Hey guys
I have found several Daily Poems from this site being shared externally with no acknowledgement to the rightful owner :(
Head over here....
http://thepoetryden.wordpress.com/author/thepoetryden/
and if you find your original work there then I highly encourage you ask this person to either a) link the poem back to your original or b) remove them from his site. He claims to be a poet and is misleading people by not putting original names/original links to the works he is posting!
Go through them carefully as the titles of the poems have been changed.
Please share this because I have read at least 3 poems from this site from 3 different people over there with no acknowledgement to the original author!
Update ~ Sept 6th 2014 ~ You are NOT going to believe this. I found Shane Linville on Facebook and you will never guess who is one of his favourites! Chris G Vaillancourt! That's right, the very same well known plagiarist from days gone by at HP. He was such an insidious piece of work
****** Not the way I'd like to see my name next to a Daily Poem but getting the awareness out there is a nice thing too :)***

In light of recent awareness about content being stolen from users, I have decided to remove all of my poems. The idea that my poetry could potentially be stolen alarms me, and makes me feel as though I'd rather not post my poems at all. :(
I saw the first page off of the infamous blog that had stolen property prior to it being privatized, recognizing poems from fellow users of this site without credit or reference to them. It disgusted and discouraged me!
I just became a member of Hello Poetry about a week or so ago. In this short span of time, I have received overwhelming responses and encouragement. Everyone has been so lovely and supportive. It has truly been more than I could have ever hoped for. I want to thank each and every one of you for that. Sincerely. Thank you for everything. <3

To be what they want
Is to win a battle
To be who you are
Is to win a war

Shreds us the life
With bruises and cuts
Our days run rife
In the ifs and buts!
If the day was bright
If hadn’t fallen rain
If quickly passed the night
If living was no pain!
But the day was a mess
But the winds blew harsh
But time was hard pressed
But cloud hid the stars!
If happened how we need
If they all smoothly clicked
If luck came with speed
If clock slowly ticked!
But things ran amok
But nothing went right
But faced a roadblock
But fortune took flight!
Tear us apart the ifs and buts
Do steal away all happiness
Wound our life with bruises and cuts
Alas for them we have no redress!

Mourning is like a puzzle
outlined dot to dot
.------.
Time heals some
others not,
It's but another Journey
life throws our way,
We all must walk it
come what may,
Some will heal to sunshine
Some drown in the rain,
For some Mourning claims
the prize of pain,
Belief in God, helps a few
while others live in doubt,
For some the Journey ends
as it's figured out,
Like me the lines get blurred
the path not always clear,
but praying that God
is somewhere near,
Mourning is like a puzzle
outlined dot to dot,
.--------.
Time heals some,
Others not.

I love you
not because
you're good looking
I love you
not because
you're caring
I love you
not because
you dote on me
I love you
not because
your smiles are sweet
I love you
not in lust
of your crevice
or orifice
or skin
I love you
because
without you
I feel
incomplete within.

Fade to scene--pallet: blue and green--wide shot; mood: serene.
Establish view; a stock or few; pan right to view a distant two.
A hazy rim; we cut to HIM--so clean and prim--just as we hear the hymn...
A tear rolls down his chin. The brightness dims; music shifts to grim.
Cue the screams; cut the scene.
We're back in the now and the mood is mean.
HE'S back in a view--pallet: black and blue--the shot askew.
The mood's muted; sounds of shooting. Cue dialog:
"Look what you did..."
Camera jerks; extreme closeup: a smirk; let the ANTAGONIST work.
The wire crew's here. HERO sheds a tear. Signal stuntman on the tier.
Orchestra on my mark...
Deliver line then cut to dark.
Light's back to reality. The view won't change, you see.
There's no crew or doubles. Just a wide sea of troubles.
No second shots; no calling "CUT"; it's all open-shut.
It's not like a filmmaker's lens; it's not just pretend.
Let me script this out what you're all about:
An overconfident lout, but backlit with doubt.
All part of a cast, direct you like I did the last.
I see that you're furious, but you're hardly fast.
Now I'll produce the fear as the shoot draws near--
I've got the schedule set; we're not finished here!--
You're calling "cut," but I'm just cutting you more,
And then I'll edit you out on the cutting room floor.
I appreciate that you feel you've come so far,
But never forget this is MY movie, and I'm the STAR!

like water filtering through my fingers,
you escaped my memories.
i can't quite remember the sound of your
voice whispering my name,
or the sound of your laugh over the roar
of the wheezing car engine.
i can't quite remember the color of your eyes
and on good days, i don't feel your touch
linger longingly on my skin.
but at night, when i'm laying in bed
running my fingers over the your old spot,
i feel it all rush back to me in sporadic bursts.
the scent, the sound, the touch, the very essence of you
fills me to the brim and i can't hold myself together.
i figure it's just as hard to forget
as it is to remember.

I find you in the strangest of places
in empty streets beneath the trees
in crowded rooms full of music and strangers
and sometimes I even find your eyes catch mine or your voice say my name
I find you when you’re not there at all
in the lines of songs and the pages of books
in the caress of my pillow and the formation of my smile
But the strangest place I find you, strangest of all
is on my mind
constantly and irrevocably
