American I'm not a habitual writer; but a habitual thinker.
Take my eyes while they still shine Shine for you like a crystal ball Take it all For you, I fall Fall into you for I always knew Mind like an open wire the spark for a raging fire A fire in you so no need to subdue Just come unglued for me, if you please Please give me strength Give me faith and pray these ties hold fast pray for this ever last Last one into Heaven but only He can judge you for the things you do. Do this for me My darling Make you believe it was all just a dream bursting at the seams Seems like an eclipse with poison on your lips A taste of death never hurt anyone Bliss for those coming undone Undone like me inside but in you, I confide. Confide in me so that I may see through your eyes while they still shine Shine for me.

Shine
The morning never came Minutes, months, years It's all the same Wellaway! A dream denied like the pain inside Star-crossed Waiting to be side by side A heart made coy A heart without joy Never, set, go I let them know for they told me so The also-ran man who never even ran Under the gun, waiting for the sun but the Morning never came
