Wanting what I can't have, Having what I don't want. Stuck in this repeating cycle, This spinning wheel. Turning and turning. Endlessly re-living moments, When the world felt like my adversary. Before you know it you're older. The wheel spins a little slower now. And one day you realize, That all you had to do was let go.

The Spinning Wheel
Deep in the mind where memories reside, Something dormant awakens during slumber. Taking full control of the perceived world, It shape-shifts into colorful shadows that seem familiar. Greens and grays drip with so much meaning, they can hardly be understood. Flashbacks move forward in time so swiftly they can hardly be remembered. Like an obscure image at the corner of one’s eye, never fully seen.
