I loved you from that day
and everything changed since then
I talked to you day after day
until I realized that my love was in the wrong place as wise men
you liked me and respected me too
but that wasn’t enough, for my heart was falling for you
I stayed with you for four years straight
and four times I stayed till 12 am late
to tell you: “happy birthday, my soul mate”
I felt like I was hurting myself by loving a heartbreaker
but every time you told me anything I fell deeper
but I decided to leave you 6 months ago
it felt weird since then that ill never talk to you so
but today, oh today, today is the weirdest
cuz it's your birthday again.

Once upon a time, the sun loved a flower between all other flowers
the flower loved it back although they were very different in powers
the sun had a lot of energy that kept the flower alive
they were jolly couples although measured in million kilometers,
the distance between them was around one hundred forty five
the sunflower followed the sun everywhere it went,
the sun never looked at another flower even though some other flowers had a finer scent.
One day , the sun decided to do something unexpected
just because it wanted to feel more connected;
it decided to go down beside the flower
just for 10 seconds or maybe half an hour
the flower felt extremely contented to see its love approaching
but it had a feeling that the idea was a form encroaching.
when the sun got near the flower to rest next to it on the soil,
the flower couldn’t take it since it was made of voile.
the sun then looked down to find nothing but black ashes on the sand
it felt nothing but hopeless, for it killed the love of its life
it went back up to the sky and saw what it had done "the most grievous strife"
it felt dejected as the years passed
but then decided to do something at last
the sun decided to think to itself:
“till when will i have a book called regret on my shelf?”
it chose to grow stronger and think in an open-minded way;
that nothing in the world is ever meant to stay
even the flower is mortal and would die one day
the sun moved on as heartbroken humans should
and did that in a way that it never thought it could.
So what the sun can show you here
is that being away from your love can sometimes be the best thing you can do, dear
because some people just like you from far far away trust me, i swear
and some people will love you because you are simply there,
and only for the little sweet things you do to them
and will simply love you cuz from a distance, you’re a dazzling gem
