When it's that dead part of the day between afternoon and evening After lunch but not quite time for dinner so you can't chase it away with food. Usually a Sunday. Or at night when you're the only one awake and have already watched a film. Something needs to be done coz you don't want to sleep But it's too late for another. The big picture slaps you in the face and puts you in your place And the atmosphere feels like Lost in Translation You sit down, And look around And end up writing something like this.

The French have a nicer word for it but like many things French it sounds/is too pretentious so i shall call this poem "Aimless"
I want to truly have What I feel I understand But my mind is tied down. I'm a bit more than most but nothing special. I see it and that makes it so much harder That I almost wish I could not. To be like those who do not care Who don't see past the next day Who ask for more than their share And repeat what others had to say Would it be better? Would my dissatisfaction away? But even that is a lie The truth is I don't mind Most of the time I don't mind

Confused
I believe in standstills And in silent suffering I believe in idleness And in not getting up on time I believe in difference And that we are all just the same I believe in staying in and in dancing in the rain And even though I hate gay lines I just wrote one of the cheesiest in the world. I believe in literature And that most of it is **** I believe in music And that most of it is **** I believe in me And that I'm as false as you I believe that I am false I'm hoping you all are too

A Boyz Noize
He announced with a sneer 'Now listen here, all you sinners that can hear Explain to me how you'll plead when making pornographic movies; plastic ******* swear words... nasty things when the lord calls upon you offering the forgiveness he brings? ' 'He'll send you to hell! ' 'He'll punish you well! ' 'You don't stand a chance, what you're doing! ' The crowd raved and screamed Faith high esteemed until a young man in the back laughed.

On the bus, the other day. I saw a man who had nothing to say. He was talking on his phone outloud, everyone could hear. I never get that. How can people be so open? Are you one of those people? Do you talk like that on purpose, trying to show the world who you are? Like you do with your clothes and hair and music This is ME, Look, I'm fun/interesting/intelligent I'm a little quirky, I don't give a **** I fit in I BELONG You what? I BELOOOONNNGGGG Or is it just where you came from, your family? They were open - they were loud and confident so so are you. I guess, like most things, it's a bit of both W E L L L I listened but as I said he had nothing to say. So I looked to my music and pressed play                 <=========Super Cool Rhyming, So good at poetry - to listen to more people with nothing to say. But at least the way they said it sounded good
