some time's worth of energy accumulated, and too, dreams, and reflections on the whirlwind trips gone by, comes another visit- in reality, escape- to a place- and i mean you- sans sorrow, sans a tomorrow.

san diego sun waves waft in through the grime-claimed window above the cucumber melon colored tub, and onto a seashell embroidery, salmon pink lukewarm soak plus one more drink

no vacancy, i said finger pointed toward my head _ and yet that night i huddled cold with you every blanket sold, and every lamp that warmly glowed- blackout curtains took the place of floral dainties, window-graced so come the morning sun's bright shine, i might forget it once was mine.
