think for a moment about how small you are about how short you live and how the sky isn’t upwards but all encompassing       think for a moment about how vast nothingness is about how little we know and how if the universe is infinite we will never explore a single percent of it not one

the moon used to follow me and the stars pinned up the sky the scariest part of the night was getting out of bed to turn my cassette tape now i am little more than a speck in the infinitely huge universe and i have my playlist on shuffle

theres this one rug in my house by the front door just full of dirt and cat hair and dog hair from a long deceased dog and no matter how hard i try to push the vacuum over it to shake the dirt off it remains as is ***** the vacuum can make a fuss and claw and nip at its edges but there that rug is its just *****
