Once I gave a shot to the moon,
But my heart went over too soon!
That it landed on a bright star,
Not knowing that it will go afar!
So many words I want to say,
Feelings are too deep to relay.
Messages that are kept unsend,
Rules of love must not be bend!
As I search within my heart,
There you are tearing me apart!
If what's at stake is my dignity,
I must let go of my insanity!

As I gaze upon the sky,
I asked the Lord, oh why?
It's you that I always think of,
When actually this love has no hope!
I decided to run a kilometer or two,
Still my thoughts are missing you.
Even made it double from 5 to 10,
How many marathons should I run then?
How unfaithful of me to feel this way?
Love is sometimes cruel, must I say?
Our love can never be outright,
When two hearts are on different sides!

My little world was just doin' fine,
Then you came with such sweet smile.
Never knew this heart will beat,
So hardly, that I couldn't speak!
I wanted to love you, but I just can't!
You have your own world, and so do I.
Can you please give some love to spend?
If deep inside you feel the same as mine.
Must I let go or let you know?
You brought back my youth,
And made me wear my shoes!
You changed my life without remorse,
That lead me to finish that 10km course!
