Its okay to enjoy the silence and peace of being alone
but its not okay to dwell in the darkness of silence and let it devour your soul
A hungry predator
lurking in the shadows
Its growl the plaintive buzz in an empty room
Its breath the repetitive tick of a clock
right
behind
you.
Don't let it get close
shut the monster out and see the spirits
so many that they're like air
smiling at you.
Fuel your soul with the right silence.

dearest
you have constellations in your palm
and galaxies in your veins
the world is a marble in your hands
and you are the ruler
if you wish to sit on your throne.
fret not ; worry not
just look into your soul
see the light within you soar
and shine a lovely gold.

we are grids and squares
some of us supporting figures
and the wires that make things work
we rely and we take
captivate and motivate
but are still unhappy with what we have
easily disheartened by the chances we get
live up to your expectations.
play your part.

She thought awhile,
of his warm, warm smile
and recalled she loved him with
a passion so bright,
that it burned through the night
but all he left her was grief

’Twas noontide of summer,
And midtime of night,
And stars, in their orbits,
Shone pale, through the light
Of the brighter, cold moon.
’Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
Her beam on the waves.
I gazed awhile
On her cold smile;
Too cold—too cold for me—
There passed, as a shroud,
A fleecy cloud,
And I turned away to thee,
Proud Evening Star,
In thy glory afar
And dearer thy beam shall be;
For joy to my heart
Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
And more I admire
Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.

I can never read you
You've written your book in a language only you understand
And I'm tired of being confused
I thought I liked being only a friend
Now I get that I don't
So take my hand and teach me

Speak the truth however bold
Speak what lies inside the hearts folds
Do not fear the pain it may cause
Live the moment, do not once pause
Take the chance and feel free
Speak from the heart so it can be
Forget the cowardess you feel
One minute of bravery can dispell the ills
If you feel it may cause you disdain
Remember true beauty rises from pain

Tight is the mind that lies lonely in its dark cell
Anxious and tense it awaits its release
Angry is the mind that feeds off negative thoughts
Disarray and confusion they do as they please
Do what you have to do
Say what you have to say
Think what you want to think
As long as it pleases those around you
See what you want to see
Like what you wants to like
Feel what you want to feel
As long as it is accepted by those around you
Freedom is a lie, like the smiles on their faces
I promise you, she said, one day we'll go places
Stop caring so often there is'nt much left
**** them all off
Before they take what you have

The right to remain silent
quiet
voiceless
Lies upon the tongues of the defeated
They await what the world will throw at them with fear
pain
hopelessness
and they will suffer again
and as always
in silence
Made to bow to those who reign high and mighty
they tear themselves apart deciding between what they want
and what they are forced to do
frustrated
confused
lost
delving deeper and deeper into the abyss
Ever consuming
They wish that one day
an angel
guardian
saviour
will free them from their bonds
unshackle them
pluck the thorns from their sides
but even then they wonder
if the angel itself
was just another poorly made choice
