I am an ex-serviceman from Indian Air force. I joined Oriental Insurance Company and retired from there too in May, 2007. I have been graduated from Punjab University. I hold technical qualification like Diploma in Radio/engineering .I have done English and Hindi stenography as well. I had mastered the art in Morse telephony too. I am associated with several welfare organizations and served long time as Union leader too. I am at present working as hobby writer. I write poems on various subjects and invite suggestions from all the quarters. I have written one memoir named “As I see it” and ready for publication. One interesting part of writing I would love to share with all my reader friends. I am not sure weather it may be the same case with all as I do not want to be caught in any controversy. So far I have been graced by Him and as result able to compose about 2700 poems. I have be awarded with 4 achievement award from the www.ezinearticles.com
All birds
All birds should make noises
On tree branches with full choice
Loud or small but with nice melody
Naturally attention drawn at them by everybody
Of late I have lost little hope
The revenge and bloodshed doesn’t stop
In every street there is violence
Life has become hell since then
The change is must and welcome
Let it be blown from any direction and come
It must be encouraging with enthusiasm
There may appear some improvement with mechanism
We hear disturbing news
Worst affected countries may be hardly few
Yet it has witnessed lots of carnage
Blot on humanity and painted as dark page
It could have been avoided
Little concession would have been given or granted
What were they holing back and asking in return?
Little peace to live in and prosperity in turn
Who can be trusted upon?
Law protector or merely lip actors?
Honest military rulers or civilian representatives?
All are corrupt and wants to rule by proxy or relatives
Power is such a greed no one may want to leave
It has to be imposed on them forcefully to relieve
They want mass concentration of wealth and power
Rule over millions, keep them starved and poor
I wish no god may shower them with blessings
They have to flee the land and face the worst chase
No place for them to stay peacefully and alive
Alas! They could have earned blessings to survive
There can be no end to any kind of lust
Even animals may want or have it as must
We are human and should know about the result
Why not then it come peacefully without curse and insults?

I was abused literally and pushed aside by teacher
He was in rage to see me when I tried to enter
He might have some grievances in mind to nurture
As I was doing fare in studies and position was assured
I was really ashy boy but excellent in pick up
I heard attentively and was cheered with thumb up
His behavior as teacher made great impact in mind
I might have taken it lightly if he was harsh or unkind
It is customary to show little disrespect to the poor students
Some of the discourtesy is extended with inferior comments
I was unable to think further but bore a grudge permanently
I remember those abusive remarks and resisted him once vehemently
I thought and rethought about such behavior
As teacher he would have been considerate and held honor
I became reserved from that day and decided to keep silent
As it was now known to me that best way is to offer no comment
In social circle too certain disliking exist for people
It may be more intensive when they are incapable
Not in financial capacity to move forward and compete
Live under their dominance and agree to submit
I remained firm in approach but turned away from close contacts
I kept good will at heart and prayed for their well being in fact
This gave me enough of strength to observe them from distance
I was taken little note of and none observed my presence
I return gesture with kind words and remain aloof
I have enough of strength financially as single proof
They dare not to see me with inferiority and pull down
As I have established of my own and became powerfully known
I wish that same kind of maltreatment is not shown
To children who are unfortunate of having means of their own
They are really asset to us and builder of future generation
How can we be indifferent when question of building nation comes?
I have known some of the people getting blinded
By sudden arrival of fortune and secretly confided
Their common sense gets unnatural boost to reveal
The arrogance is reflected and shown with no efforts to conceal

Go alone
One has to travel it alone
It is like surviving onslaught of cyclone
The life has made you for what you wanted to be
Resolute in mind, independent and totally free
You can decide the destiny
Having trust and faith in almighty
Certain things you may or have not
The desperate bid has to be made and force the way out
The relation built here are on temporary basis
There are no set views based on any thesis
It is one’s own mind that has to be read
Catch the path and go forward to lead
One may lead the life in isolation
As he may not find time to build the relation
The lovely companion in life is matter of luck
The ship always remains ground and struck
You have tried many times but failed
The chances were there but not availed
Something struck to your mind and it flopped
You were not encouraged and all the time stopped
You missed the bus as it was full
You made attempt were not successful
You could get in to occupy the place
But you had no resolve to find out and chase
You waited for someone to enter life
To walk hand in hand and to be called wife
It remained a dream and time passed away
You just waited for and gave the way
It will always be good to have someone
To look after in bad time and have fun
life is not merely probing ground to make run
but make it beautiful and worthwhile in turn

I hastily stepped out from bed to ponder over
It was bad dream and I started to find cover
It made me restless and compelled to wonder
I rubbed the eyes and regained composure however
It happens many times when you are seized with work
So many times you may trying to avoid or shirt
It does not relieve you from burden and chain of thoughts invade
The memory is fast recycling and not easily fades
It is human mind that works as super computer
It adjusts very fast and compels the situation to alter
It argues in favor and against in protective manner
It keeps hope alive and does not make chance thinner
Dreams are in fact a safe refuge or heaven
We are the king and also beautiful queen
The whole set up revolves around and make us proud
Your voice is heard clear and loud
It is replica of sound and healthy mind
We have enough space to find
We can have level field to play
It keeps you linked and do not push away
It is said that when person is gripped by fear
He may not be in position to think or shed tears
He will have no place to put his views
The dreams may provide him enough time to review
It is by product of active human psychology
Mind does not rest even if raised in bogey
It strikes back to find the reasonable solution
It will not rest until finds out with strong resolution
I think over endlessly over the state of mind
It some times cry and try to act very kind
If something wrong is done unintentionally
It will try to satisfy logic by reasons finally
It is right application at right moment
It does not disturb the normal movement
The ups and down may force to think
But the stable mind may not allow to sink
The unstable mind sometimes pushed person to brink
He may loose the power to balance and properly to think
It is progressive thoughts that come to the rescue
This is considered as positive step and may be had by only few
So the dreams are healthy sign of mental order
It takes active part and always ready at border
The slight palpitation may push it to strong action
It will be sound and positive reaction
It is always good to sleep without any tension
The mind may be occupied with lots of questions
Still it is wroth try to be worry free
It is nice idea for all of us to agree
