how can we know where lovers go or when they take the notion to stop the flow and try to slow the rhythm of the ocean. we cannot seek to reach this peak or lift above that sea, we are too weak to mug the meak of their sincerity. we are alone, together and free. and here's some stream of thought (that just so happens to rhyme, kinda)... loopy arousal. lofty appraisals. disabled and taken for granted. in the eyes of the dead, instead of the usual red, we decided on green to dress the scene. the sound man listened. the light man leered. the chef was cooked. i'm hooked. heaved on to me like voyeurism and sought like publishers. distasteful? yes. useful. yes. knowledgeable? sometimes. lurid trysts and poltergeists expounding. multiplication escapes me. pen and paper **** me.

How can we know?
just like all the others, trees grow in the desert and wild dogs roam free so come on go with me and we might never look back on our way to the land of green and dig a hole to china to see the wild flowers on the other side. like cotton in the wind rolling like a sea of spirits running to the water's edge. gnarled branches reaching towards an indifferent sky. sand underfoot and gulls overhead and a mushroom cloud on the horizon. just like all the others men walk on the moon and wild women roam free so come on go with me and we might never look back on our way to the land of green.

just like all the others
i choose to be a misfit, it's part of my artistry. i choose to be a misfit, a pirate and a bandit. a slave to my ministry. i outwit your chemistry and scream from the pulpit. i awoke to explosions and time lapsed erosions. the air filled with fire and rainbow smoke. i couldn't find my breath, the bed was ablaze. i inhaled the nightmare and began to choke... just then, things went fragmentary. i was more than just a dignitary. i found myself in a cinerary, facing someone legendary, and they were me. so i looked up my apothecary, knowing that i should be wary. i quickly dispensed with commentary, avoiding all things monetary. but nothing's free. speaking briefly of the goings-on, i stopped to berate the hangers-on. my mouth wove a verbal marathon, it was a virtual phenomenon. lost in my ego. restless, like the myrmidon, i was unsure of my prolegomenon. when i heard the ringing carillon, i went for a swim in the phlegethon. like abednego.
