I am Ever-Dark,
Fear me; fear me!
I am Fear's own nightmare,
and Evil's origin of corruption.
I am the chaos of flame,
and the cold of ice.
I whisper Insanity,
to drive men mad.
I am the enemy of friendship,
and the downfall of success.
I strip you of heaven's pride,
only to whisk you away to hell.
My prison is my puppet,
only time holds me.
asylum can't save you,
when i am set free.

that which you will come to fear.

Hold the hymns and halt all plight
For solitude reigns upon this night
The shadows here that daunt and dwell
Make a mockery in this hell
Of a man and his mind

From the void I stride,
Wielding death and shade.
For my wrath will not bide,
Innocence put to the blade.
Perched upon the pale steed,
While hell is at my back.
Rooting out vile deed,
Which we ruthlessly attack;
Bringing justice to the fight.
I look upon the dead,
Bearing gift of all-sight.
No soul escapes my dread,
See the horror of my mask.

Reminding thee of my task.
