Hi I'm Gigi! I love to write poetry, stories and even the sneaky fanfiction.
Eyes They say you can tell from someones eyes Words can fib, but eyes won't lie. Will they wander, will they stay? I used to have them on me, Every. Single. Day. I see your eyes, so warm and inviting . Windows to your soul, So beautiful. So enticing. But those eyes roamed like all eyes do, Looking at someone else, so wide and true. I tried to make mine wander. But all I see is you.

You can open the pages just to unwind It is nice to be in a world that’s not your own It is like falling in love with a piece of someone’s mind The words on the page, to the feel of the spine Books are the mirror to reality the words have sewn You can escape this boring world in which we are all confined The characters can understand you better than your own kind It feels like a hug, making you feel less alone It is like falling in love with a piece of someone’s mind The lessons you can learn, with real life they intertwine They can teach you that it’s okay when a solutions unknown You can escape this boring world to which we are all confined Books are an endless pool of thoughts, going against how our world is designed Feeling as free as the birds that have graced the sky and flown It is like falling in love with a piece of someone’s mind Sometimes when I feel like my emotions have declined I pick up a book when the world getting too much is prone You can open the pages just to unwind It is like falling in love with a piece of someone’s mind.

Someone's Mind
The shrug of the shoulders, when asked if they have plans, The group in a group created without your hands. You brush it off, create a cloud in your head, A cloud that is covering what is done, And what is said You want to speak up, but the cloud covers your eyes It whispers in your ears Theres nothing wrong, everythings fine. Because through unshed tears when you ask "what was the joke?" All those thoughts mean the delusion nearly broke So you let the thick clouds veil you, circling you like a roundabout Becasue in the end its kinder to give the benefit of the doubt
