I don't write often and I don't know how great my work is but i heard of this site from a friend so we will see what others think. I have unfortunately lost many of my better poems to old gfs that i gave them to. I have since started making copies of them so i have one for myself.
The way things turned out seems like it must be fate
The way I fell for you before our first date
Seeing you smile, hearing your voice
Makes it so I have no choice
But to love you more and more each day
Your hair like burning embers, sets my heart aflame
Life without you would never be the same
