The miracles of time, how the seasons go by, and morning fades into dusk. The bitter chill of winter months And the memories of spring It feels like a day and yet so long gone, Like strings of sunshine hanging from the clouds. The sweet smell of summer lingers on in my soul, but all too soon the memory grows faint and dies. I can't quite recall the rose gardens hue, Or the life that it once held. i no longer feel the sun caressing my neck. If only I knew how, I'd reverse the whole world Just to steal one more glance at what's lost. But I watch my foggy window, in a paradox of grief and joy, and stare at the dead-like silent snow. I layer up to face the cold, While my heart is warm with the memories of old.

Time
The waterflow sparkles, drawing me near to peer in over the wishing well of poison and i cant get enough its twinkling magic masks its lie and i fade into the scenery. its time to go but i cant seem to part i havent made it all the way down its a cut gone only halfway deep before it starts to scar. You applaud me for what isnt mine to boast, the borrowed prize of another, parading me as the boy among giants. it was a stolen dream, where i didnt belong, when id dress up in my mothers pearls. tangled demons of my mind obscure my view i cant see friend from foe the thrill of the fight keeps us awake all though the dark night my demons wear white and my angels cloaked in black and i lay awake and wonder if theres any turning back.
