Every time we meet up
Just to talk, play, or hang
I'm always happy and at peace.
When it's time to say goodbye
It aches.
The post-hangout is always sad.
Sad to think that it won't be for another month or year that I'll see you again. Thinking about the conversation we had after you leave is alway what eases me out of my sadness.
But every time we meet up, it's always worth the wait.
