Unconfined to trivial pursuit of all that is in flesh
The inconvenience of asking while taking away all that is choice
I didn't ask but was given that which is chosen by many to pull and tug away at

So I stand here clear of thought
Careless and unmoved unmotivated unenthused
Trying to be motivated inspired interested
Not today
Today I laugh in fates face today I look back and wonder
Of what could have been what should've been what can be
I role in the grass the sun in my face with the cool breeze of summer surrounding me
I fight temptation while knowing I will give in but how far will I go is not up to me

I wish I knew love as I always imagine
Her scent so unique
Her beauty untethered
I just want to slow dance
Get lost in her hair
While breathing her essence
So little aware
To look in her eyes, without saying words
Saying all with a stare I flicker a glare
Worshiping loving her giving her all
Even when knuckles bleed to my knees I fall
I want to feel love
That when she's not near
