Love is hard no matter whose involved
I dreamed about love having kids living in a loft
But over time love hurt me more than anything
it was no one time lover or no simple fling
my heart was never poured out and given
but instead it was ripped out and i was livid
Cold blooded females and none wanted a good man
If i approached some would laugh some even ran
I understand im not the most attractive or appealing
but im still human dont i deserve to exerience that feeling
what do women want what do they need
do they wanna man who can write or even read
Do they want someone to comfort them when times get rough
to show them support with tons of love
Or do you wanna guy who shows you disrespect
a man who shows no effort treats you like an insect
Do you wanna guy who cheats and never says i love you
a guy who shows no love and never tells you whats true
Theres tons of great guys, its like a scent its a heavy aroma

He was your best friend and your love was strong

The final party is over and done
waking up the next morning from the lights of the bright sun
The cap and gown pressed and clean
Finally the day has come for you to be seen
The diploma is obtained and life finally begins
However, it all becomes harder nothing is decided by losses and wins
No one gives you chances no one wants to help the journey is harder
You get pushed back farther and farther
Vehicles are hard to obtain
Alcohol is hard to abstain
Truth is all the fun from college and all that laughter
Is something to never forget especially because of the hardship of the road after

Alone no one to talk to no where to cry
As i hide behind a smile a heartbreaking lie
I act happy for no one can see my true pain
The despair i am in is hard i feel i have been slain
Where am i in this world of sorrow

No one can see who i really am who ive become
The stress has gotten to me now i am forever numb

Distracted by those around me
Their reactions is all that i want to see
The caring mind of what others may think
Im blinded by their thoughts there is no need to blink
for i am a man with constant depression
too afraid to tell the truth or a true confession
At times so destructive and with no intent
I have no help no one to help me vent
Im not perfect i am no king
My flaws are painful with every sting
Im weakened and it tears me apart
For every ending their becomes a new start
So i have learned throughout my years
but on occasion i shed many tears
When the pain starts i shall wait for the restart
For i am human with my sober heart

I sit at the bar just dreaming about you
The immense feelings I have are all true
The henny runs through me vein by vein
The sight of you drives me insane
This love for you burns so deep
As I take another shot because it’s so hard to sleep
I stare at the jager as I am its next prey

This liquor has got me in deep there is no turning back
The next shot comes near me ready to attack

The immense emotion of looking deep into her eyes.
She can see deep into my soul all the truths and all the lies.
As I continue to look deeper I continue to fall in to a trance.
Her eyes are so hypnotizing is this true romance.
