He walks beside me every step of the way From mornings first light to the end of the day There's never a doubt in my mind That he's there lifting me up, hearing my prayer Some days are harder than others, it's true Just knowing He's there is what gets me through As night falls upon us as day comes to end I give all the glory to Jesus, my friend. -dj 8-17-2012

A Simple Truth I would rather share my life with dogs than any amount of people. People moan and complain about their life so much makes me wonder... Chronic complainers, dogs are not! People claim to love you and then hurt you. Human nature I guess, glad dogs don't possess that! How many dogs do you know bark about you behind your back and fake like a friend to your face. I can't recall a single one. True friends, dogs! There are few people I trust with my heart as much I trust a dog. There is more love and forgiveness in one dog than in a room filled with people. And that's the thing I think with most of us... We've been there, so we know and we're glad to be right where we are, with more dogs than people, in our lives.
