you're a glass filled with a rare liquid
you fell
you shattered and lost all of the liquid i put in you
that liquid was trust
and you held it all in for far too long
you lost everything and it was all your fault
i put my trust in you and now it's all gone
and i left alongside the liquid

i restlessly lay in bed
while my mind wanders elsewhere
the thoughts of you
and the hope for us
builds up in my head,
they keep me awake
like congestion
but just getting stronger
as time passes by
