why must we speak in tangles
why do we think in such erratic ways
life is full of perplexing complex complexities
is it possible to master the art of simplicity
what is its true definition
how on earth could it be simple
simplicity is its own contradiction

i found myself wrapped up in the forests
i joined a band of travelers, not tourists
we roamed within and inside and through
we intertwined ourselves in everything true
you gave me the love i had never known
you showed me what it meant to be grown
they brought us up in a hazy way
they forgot to show instead of say
i discovered the world and created myself
i understood this journey had brought me my health

it has taken me a while
to realize
our paths are not the same
and they never have been
so i bid you farewell
my dear
i hope you find all
that you are searching for

Together
We can stop time
The measurement of
The moments
In which we survive
If we
The People
Created time itself
Then
We can stop time

Life is
Painfully
Crazily
Surprisingly
Horribly
Happily
Harshly
Wonderfully
Tragically
And undeniably
Beautiful

they
are
watching
you
every
second
of
every
day
of
every
hour
of
every
minute
of
every
second
you
can't
escape
the
grasp
their
hold
is
stronger
than
the
secrets
in
which
they
dwell
don't
stumble
they
are
watching
you

tell me tell me
what you see
two birds, two planes, a unit of the sea
floating through oceans
causing commotions
unexpectedly, imagining whirls of potions
walking the streets
enjoying small treats
lightly, slightly, messing with the beats
we've got fairies running through our veins
we're the ones dancing whenever it rains
don't be surprised if we appear in your dreams
the truth is a lie ripped at the seams
slipping through dust and tripping up ends
baby we're not here to pretend
two of a kind
thrift store finds
complicated souls with open minds
always looking
adventure booking
aroma therapy, we know something's cooking
i know you're wired
so ignite the fire
gimme that love and we'll make an empire
we've got fairies running through our veins
we're the ones dancing whenever it rains
don't be surprised if we appear in your dreams
the truth is a lie ripped at the seams
slipping through dust and tripping up ends
baby we're not here to pretend

passing it around without any shame

its the middle of the night in the morning
you're filling too much space in my brain
the mild sunlight wakes me
i realize that i'm on a raft
floating on the sea
the memories come rushing back
its too much
