Despite her everyday struggles
People go their way
Today she is burning
Fires storming
Wildlife mourning
Her dwellers are crying

The world outside isn't trying

And darkness is all they see

In my life, once upon a time
Wondering for days, like I had been in the wilderness
Sweetness came, with it came joy
Already thinking if she will
Bring forth my baby boy
The happiness became so great, honestly
I couldn't have relate
I promised to not let her down
Or even make myself a clown
