my heart is like the sea.
a beautiful body of waves crashing lazily against a shore.
but in the thick of the raging torrents
the beauty disappears and only anger and fear are found.
my heart may seem beautiful
but it is a swirling cesspool of self-loathing
which i drowned in long ago.
