18/F Hi my name is Cachline I am an aspiring poet. I am 18 years old and I enjoy reading poems as much as I write them. I hope one day to be a professional poet.
Save me, oh, save me Don't you see I'm hurting? Save me, oh, save me Help me lift this burden My heart is hurting My wings are broken My sky has darkened And death lays sparkling Where were you when I needed you ? Where are the promises that you told me? Where is my knight in shining armor ? Where is the life promise with glamour? But you lied The hope I had died So I reach deep inside And finally realized That it's only me that can save me Only me that can Lead me where I need to me So I no longer cry save me For I know now It's only I who can save me

Save Me
Today she stands, one person divided into two The girl she sees she doesn't know who For she is bitter calm and cold And no more a little girl Her eyes are like bottomless pits And words seldomly leave her lips. She has seen a lot, gain a lot But what she got, she wanted not She has been exposed to the world and is no more a little girl The girl she was, the happy one, The one who laughed and talked While innocence shone in her eyes Was gone Locked inside so she can't be hurt She now watches and sees, always alert Never allowing her self to be hurt She knows what life can do to a person And understands more than she shows For she is smart, beautiful and cold Most of all is is changed and cold

Changed
A smile worth more than gold A story left untold For behind that smile Might be something cold For inside that cold, darkness shows The pain and sorrows forever grows A fog unfolds Covering everything bright A darkened heart, that seeks to find light A single rose, in the midst of thorns As life sometimes leaves the soul broken and torn For every smile Comes a story Whether myth or legend New or old Every smile Leaves a story untold
