15/F/Australia no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin
Tell me a tale of man created, Formed with calloused hands. Taking shape, a mirrored thing. Tell me a tale of violent love, Playing a game with fate. Man torn in two, blood gushing. The wounds would heal, But the scars remain, stark and longing. Tell me a tale of two beings, Broken bodies and sick hearts, Manipulated by the hands who granted them life. Bored and power-drunk gods, Let's play a game. Tell me a tale of souls intertwined, But forever held apart. Golden cords looping bleeding hearts, Searching and destined for doom. Tell me a tale of hope flickering, A lantern upon the darkest night. Two souls rejoined, rejoice. Love and destiny defeat fate's cruel wrath. Alas, their candle stutters and blows out. Tell me a tale of lovesick fools, Their story only a moment in time. Yearning replaced with love, Just to be struck down by tragedy once more.
