I think sometimes, When you fall too fast, When you begin to love someone too much, You start to brace yourself for the impact, The plane crash The train derailment The pain that you will feel when they leave you Because when you fall too hard And when you love just a little too much It never seems to work The pain is unavoidable And the worst part is I think you know it You know it from the very first moment The first time you look into their eyes When you first see their smile You know That eventually those eyes and that smile Will no longer give you life But be the demons that torture you inside when you want to sleep at 3am Trying to forget every word he had ever said to you You know You just know Yet you fall for it anyway ~b.d.o.

When you fall
I'm losing sleep over a boy I barely even know, Stuck trying to breathe, waiting for his name on my phone Yet no matter all my hopes, I still end up alone, Waiting for a text I may not ever get So, tell me, How do you like someone you've barely even met -b.d.o.

Success is more than just the completion of a set goal. Success is when you can see someone you used to love and not feel like your heart is being ripped out of your chest, Success is when you accept the fact that you can move on from someone without feeling like you need to curl into a ball and cry until you fall asleep, Success is when you know that you may not have the person you want, but in the end it will work out for the best. There are more than just successful ways of living, And many of them revolve around success stories fought through the battle of love--the toughest and most difficult trials and errors one may ever face-- So yes, you successfully completed that assignment, and maybe even that paper But you will also feel success when you see the boy with those beautiful blue eyes, and not feel like you are still drowning inside of them. -b.d.o.

Success
Sometimes I stand in the shower when I'm sad, and I think, and maybe I hope, that the hot scalding water will wash away more than just the days dirt from my body maybe, just maybe, it can wash away the sadness or the feelings of unwant, or maybe even more, the feelings of nothing at all so there I stand, and there I wait

Some nights
Today my teacher said the four saddest words in the English language are "What could have been" I had to hold back a laugh, A laugh so full of irony, Because I've thought that every single second since I met you- and then once again when you left- So with a little more than fire behind my eyes and pain in my chest, I raised my hand to say There are also 2 words that can be just as sad: "What if?"

can you be forgotten?
It's been a year and a half or so More than enough time to forget you But **** god **** I haven't forgotten a word Not a word that was spoken that night Not even a look that was exchanged I remember every single piece yet I doubt you remember my name I'm tired of this I'm getting so tired of you But how do you move on from somebody that you barely even knew
